CBD Porcini and Mixed Mushroom Burger

It’s Vegetarian month but are you stuck for what to make for dinner tonight? Why not give these tasty CBD mushroom burgers a go? Packed full of taste and flavour, these meat-free delights are supercharged with water-soluble CBD to give you an extra boost.

Follow the simply recipe below to make this delectable Vegan recipe.


1 tbsp dried porcini mushrooms
200g any mushrooms, chopped small
215g can butter beans, drained
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 ciabatta rolls/ brioche buns
150g cherry tomatoes, halved
small bunch basil
juice ½ lemon
(1 tsp capers, 1 sliced avocado, chives, handful of pea shoots) optional
Add cheese to taste (cheddar works nicely)

5 drops CBD Ultra Bio Plus Drops 





-Grab the porcini mushrooms  and place into a small bowl and then pour over 1 tbsp boiling water and allow to steep until soft.

-Meanwhile, put 1 tsp of oil into another saucepan and cook the chopped button mushrooms until soft and all the liquid has evaporated.

-Chop the Porcini mushrooms and add to the pan along with the butter beans.

-Remove from the heat and using a potato masher squish everything together until the butter beans are completely mashed and are thoroughly mixed with the mushrooms.

-Tip the mixture into a bowl and stir in a crushed garlic clove and season well with salt and pepper.

-When cool enough to handle, shape the bean and mushroom mix into 2 large burger patties and place on a plate ready for cooking.

-Heat the remaining oil in a large non-stick frying pan and cook the bean and mushroom burgers for 3-4 mins on each side, try not to turn them too much as they can break up a little, if they do just push them back together with a spatula.

-When they reach a desired colour, build the burger with any desired toppings and sauce. Take the CBD Ultra Bio Plus drops and sprinkle 5 drops over the top of the burger to add a good dose of CBD and serve with a classic side salad and chips.

(For a non-vegan/non-mushroom option try replacing the mushroom patty with a thick slice of grilled juicy halloumi)
